Newton Park Baptist Church: We had first baptisms at NPBC this last month. I baptized my youngest daughter Michaela, 14 year old Logan, 15 year old Ruben, 16 year old Randall, 18 year old Avu, and 48 year old Amos (4 different cultures, American, Coloured, Xhosa, and Zimbabwean). Please pray for continued growth in these and others.

We are still waiting on our approvals of the building plans so as to continue the expansion at the academy. The first submission was rejected for various reasons. We think we have resolved all problems and have resubmitted the plans. Hopefully we will hear word back on Monday (April 13th) that we can continue. In the mean time, we are building retaining walls and leveling areas for proper sport/activity areas (no plans approvals needed for those things).

This month we also welcomed the Noah Wilkerson family. They stayed with us for their first two week as they were busy seting up their home. This is a very sweet, godly family that we are excited to have with us here in SA for the next 2 years. Pray for them as they get settled in, continue in language studies, and begin to make contact with some local Mozambicans.

Monday, we will host a group of 10 from Troy, NC. We also have two other visitors joining from the states, one from MI and the other from GA. These are exciting, eye opening trips for the groups. Pray for safety, and that the Lord will use this time to raise up workers for His harvest.

A special prayer request for Pastor Mxolisi Dama’s health. He is now recovering at home from TB Meningitis. He was in the hospital for a couple of weeks, and at times, didn’t look like he was going to make it. However, God heard our prayers. He is doing much better, but still has long road to full recovery.
