Between having four kids homeschooling, traveling to churches several times a week, and packing up 20+/- bags to return to SA in less than a week, our house is a little chaotic to say the least. After seeing my wife work and balance all that she does for almost 14 years, I still stand amazed. I am a blessed man.

Saying goodbye to family and friends is not so fun, but thinking about all that we have to do on the other side keeps our minds occupied. We are very fortunate to have my brother (Kevin Hall) and missionary Josh Sullivan there who have been a huge blessing in helping us get things ready for our arrival. We’ve already purchased two vehicles and they have worked hard at getting everything set up and repaired in our home so we can hit the ground running as soon as we arrive. They have also been viewing properties for Bay Baptist Academy. Speaking of that, there are several properties that look promising. I am anxious to view a few of them in person. We have raised $121,400.00 for the building and supplies. Please pray for patience, wisdom and direction. We don’t want to rush into the wrong location. The week after we arrive, we will host the Eastern Cape representative for AEE curriculum at our home, and have a week long intensive training session for all teachers and staff.

One of the things that most excites me is to see and spend time with the local pastors in PE. There are several things we hope to restart in 2022, along with a few new ministries. Covid will not halt our plans to go forward with the gospel. We plan to start our quarterly joint youth meetings, have more evangelistic outreach through camps, medical clinics, and dramas, establish local Bible institutes in several of the churches, continue to record and publish more materials in isiXhosa, start a circuit riding ministry into the rural areas of the Eastern Cape, train and disciple more men in Bay Baptist College, and ultimately plant more churches.

Please continue to pray for several who are making their plans to join us asap in Port Elizabeth:

  • Caleb Boyle Family – VBM 6 month internship (e.t.a. November 0th)
  • Amanda Baines – 1 year internship at Bay Baptist Academy (e.t.a., December 2021)
  • Banks Davis – intern and student (e.t.a. January 2022)
  • Katie Dilfer- BIMI missionary on deputation (e.t.a. January 2022)
  • Lynette Osborn – BIMI missionary on deputation (e.t.a. 2022)
  • Chase Southard Family – VBM church planting missionary on deputation (e.t.a. 2023)
  • Blaine Hooper Family – currently preparing at our home church (e.t.a. 2024)

There is still room for you! We need qualified teachers who can volunteer a minimum of one year to teach at BBA. We need people with administrative skills who are willing to invest in the next generation of believers so as to carry on in the work till Jesus comes. We need preachers who can teach young men how to be godly witnesses of Jesus Christ. We need help. Maybe God could use you to reach the world with the gospel through South Africa?Thank you for your prayers and support!

Sincerely,
Jeremy and Rebekah Hall
