Things usually slow to a halt this time of year in SA, but for us it’s been quite the opposite. At NPBC we’ve seen people saved and following the Lord in baptism, with three more baptisms scheduled for tomorrow. November was full of “firsts” for us. We introduced a Thanksgiving Service—great turnout, heartfelt testimonies, delicious food, and a true “potluck” dinner. We even had some unique dishes like oxtail stew and tongue alongside pastas and traditional favourites. Altogether, eight cultures were represented: Nigerian, Kenyan, Zimbabwean, American, Afrikaans, Xhosa, Zulu, and English.

We also concluded our first Faith Promise Missions month. This brand-new concept was well received, and we had R5,240 committed monthly—an encouraging start. We’re eager to support missionaries and especially desire to help South African foreign church planters, though we haven’t yet found any to present. Until then, we’ll assist local church plants and, Lord willing, send some of our own people in 2026 to help American missionaries planting new churches in other cities.
Teen Camp wraps up today, and Junior Camp begins next week. I preached on Thursday, and it’s wild to think four of our kids are now old enough to attend. It’s exciting to watch our oldest three stepping into serving roles—they help with so much and will also have the chance to serve as junior counsellors.

Bay Baptist Academy is officially on school holiday. Our annual prize giving was held on the 25th—you can watch it here. As many of you know, we received a container of donated books from the US. The library remodel is complete except for the bookshelves. Unfortunately, I prepaid a reputable builder (someone we’ve used often) who delivered a few materials and then disappeared. So it looks like I have a holiday project ahead of me.

Other prayer requests:
- Vistarus Rehabilitation outreach: Five new men have received Christ and begun attending church.
- SOS Children’s Home: We’d love to give Christmas gifts to the 22 children there. If you’d like to help provide a gift, please let me know.
- Scholarships for 2026: Each student costs about $100/month including transport and curriculum. If you’d like to sponsor a student, contact me or send donations to VBM marked Bay Baptist Academy Students.
- Interns: The Jordan Lukas family arrives December 31 and will be with us for 2026.
Thank you all for your faithful financial and prayer support throughout 2025. We’re deeply grateful—and excited to see what God has next!
Sincerely,
Jeremy and Rebekah Hall
